The CPP website is one of the main ways that people and visitors to the Park can find information about visiting hours, events and the future plans for the Park. We want to ensure that everyone can use it.

We've launched this website very recently, and we know we have some way to go to make it accessible to everyone.

Please be patient while we carry out testing and update content from the old Crystal Palace website, these may be files like PDFs or transcripts for videos.

Navigating the website

Use the menu on the left to see different pages in the website. Select a topic, some sections have a sub-menu within them and these may appear on the top right of the browser window.

• Search - searchword facility under EXPLORE to find something quickly.
• Sitemap- lists all the live webpages, at the bottom of every page, you can use this to navigate the website as well.

Viewing files

The majority of downloadable documents on the Crystal Palace Park website are in Adobe PDF, Rich Text Format (RTF), Word format or plain Text format.

Flash

Parts of this website such as the banner at the top of every page and the homepage have rotating images which contain flash images and files. Not all computers may have Flash software installed to view these images. Where this occurs we have inserted coding which enables the website to detect non flash users and instead show a static image.

You can install a flash player such as Adobe Flash Player from Adobe.com, currently they have version 9.

PDF files

To view a PDF document you will need the software, Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free. Follow the instructions on the website for this download and other useful information from Adobe.com.

RTF

Rich Text Format is a simple text file which most computers can read using a Word processor. Word for Windows can read RTF documents.

Microsoft Word files

To view Word files you need to have the software Microsoft Office Word installed on your computer to access these files. The latest version is Word 7.

There are different versions of Microsoft Word; Word 95 through to 2007 and 2004 for Apple Macintosh. You should be able to use any of these versions to view Word files.
