Who needs a permit?

Permits are required by individuals and organisations wishing to deliver organised activity within the park that is not classed as normal informal park use or a ticketed event programmed by Crystal Palace Park Trust.

Why a Permit is required

Crystal Palace Park Trust is responsible for ensuring that the park remains a safe, accessible and welcoming public space. The Trust must also ensure compliance with park byelaws and other regulations governing the use of the park. 

Under the park byelaws, organised activity may not take place without permission. 

Permits allow the Trust to confirm that operators: 

• Hold appropriate insurance
• Have relevant qualifications and training (where applicable)
• Have suitable health and safety procedures in place
• Are operating in a way that protects the park and other users
