Consider holding your event in one of our spaces, including the brand-new Visitor Centre and the park's many historic locations.
Visitor Centre
Our brand-new Visitor Centre offers a range of flexible spaces for meetings, workshops, children’s parties, rehearsals, community events, exhibitions and creative activities.
Hirable either as a single, smaller space or you can book the entire venue.
Visitor Centre hires include:
- Tables and chairs
- Event manager support on arrival
- Room set up to your requirements
- Dedicated toilet facilities
Subway
Grade II* listed this beautifully designed relic of Victorian construction was built to provide access to the Crystal Palace for first-class rail passengers.
Capacity: 200 people. (N.B. there is currently no step-free access)
Concert Platform
This iconic landmark (aka The Rusty Laptop!) is situated within the Bowl area of the park. As well as the platform itself, there is a range of rooms that can be used for meetings, training sessions, away days, parties and more. The stage, large enough to accommodate a concert orchestra, has views over the Bowl and can be hired separately or in conjunction with the Platform.
Museum
The Museum tells the story of both the Hyde Park and Sydenham Crystal Palaces in a series of unique images, large-scaled models of the Crystal Palace and showcases displaying ceramics and other items. Unfortunately access is via a steep flight of stairs and is not suitable for wheelchairs.
