Planning an event to take place in the park? Our events team are here to help, ensuring your event takes place smoothly and safely.

The Park contains many unique and historic venues and was designed to host events as part of Joseph Paxton's original masterplan.

All events require oversight from the Crystal Palace Park Trust's Events team, so we can assure the safety and welfare of everyone who uses the Park.

When planning to gain a permit for your event, you may need to consider:

• Welfare facilities (for staff and traders as well as attendees)
• Security
• Weather (hot, cold, sunny, wet or windy, consider the potential impact to your event)
• Ground protection
• Power
• Sound management
• Safety
• Vehicles
• How the event effects members of the public (it is an open space)
• Licensing
• Lighting
• Waste management
• Toilets

Once you have submitted an application the team will talk to you about documentation, timescales, charges and other requirements. We’re here to help.

As an organisation we are keen to ensure that event organisers consider the environment and sustainability as key components of their event planning.
