    Visitor Centre

Join Greener and Cleaner for a fun, creative 2-hour workshop where you will learn the traditional textile repair technique of darning. Darning can be done to look as invisible as possible or as colourful and creative as you wish. The technique is the same for whichever style you choose.

You are welcome to bring something of your own to mend, or practise your skills with a selection of fabric swatches, old socks, yarns and embroidery threads. If you have your own darning mushroom you are welcome to bring it. Otherwise, tennis balls will be available to support the fabric while you darn.

This workshop is suitable for ages 16+
