Fossils Day Workshop with the Geological Society

Get hands-on with fossils and discover what they can tell us about dinosaurs.

  • Thu 29 Oct 2026

    Free, drop-in

Join the Geological Society at the Visitor Centre for a drop-in session exploring fossils and the famous fossil that helped us discover Megalosaurus, one of the first dinosaurs to be scientifically named.

Handle real fossils, discover what dinosaur teeth and claws can tell us about their diet, and find out how fossil footprints help us understand how dinosaurs moved.
